During these hours, staff answer questions regarding access, searching techniques, and troubleshooting. Report Problem with a Database In order to better serve NOVELNY customers, the NOVELNY vendors (EBSCO, Gale, and Scholastic) now support libraries by directly answering questions related to their products. The following types of questions can be answered by the NOVELNY Help Desk: •Registration •General how-to´s •Questions about the NOVELny program and databases The following types of questions should be directed to the individual vendors: •Updates in contact information (contact person, e-mail address, phone number, etc.) •IP updates •Requests for URLs, usernames and passwords •Statistics •Remote access Vendor contact information: EBSCO: [email protected] or 1-800-758-5995 Gale: access.gale.com/noveltech/ (to submit questions online) or [email protected] or 1-800-877-4253 (press 4) Scholastic (Grolier): [email protected] or 1-888-326-6546 option 4

Nine (9) is the number of NOVELny databases that should be included in the total number of database subscriptions available through the school library media program when reporting the number of "database subscriptions, including NOVELny statewide databases" in the resources section of the Library Media Center page on the BEDS Report.
